1962
Mr. Haroon Abdul Sattar started as principal broker and trader of spices and agri-commodities in Pakistan's biggest commodity market of Jodia Bazar in Karachi.
1966
Started imports of cardamom, cloves, black pepper, cassia, star aniseeds and other spices from Singapore, Africa and Europe.
1980
Became sole importers and distributors of world's top brands of cardamom and cloves in Pakistan.
2004
Set-up a rice processing unit for export of basmati rice from Pakistan.
2008
Started a distribution point in Sweden for all its products to cater to European markets.
2014
Setup a company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to expand coverage of its products within the Middle East & African regions.
2016
Completed setup of state-of-the-art processing facilities for food grade himlayan pink salt and its related products.
2018
The himalayan salt business was setup as a separate business unit under the name "Pink Salt Processing Company".

When buying Himalayan salt lamps, or salt candles, you're purchasing a high-quality product. However, a number of factors can affect the quality of a salt lamp, or salt candle, including the type of salt used, the method of processing, the ingredients and manufacturing standards.
Companies who sell food products often need to comply with food regulations such as: FDA, EU, USDA, and others. These are generally very strict about what products are allowed and what is not. Some of these regulations prohibit additives, and food companies are required to have these things removed from their products before they can be sold. To do this, many food companies hire the services of a Quality Control company to ensure that their processing facilities complies with all the requirements of quality control, hygiene and safety as per importing country's requirements. This usually involves testing for microbial contamination, nutritional content, checking salt contents for purity, and chemical analysis of the salt products.
